CN · Vertically integrated consumer/enterprise drone maker

DJI

Qué hacen (hecho)
DJI builds airframes, cameras, gimbals, flight control and apps in-house. Around 22 Dec 2025 the US FCC added foreign-made UAS and UAS critical components to its Covered List, so new models announced after that date cannot obtain the FCC authorization needed for US sale; previously authorized products remain on sale.

Origen de su ventaja
In-house manufacturing scale and cost advantage from components to finished aircraft.

Qué significa para quien quiera entrar (interpretación)
(Interpretation) In the US, DJI replacement demand favors airframe-agnostic operations/airspace software.

Limitación: US rules may shift via litigation or exemptions; DJI's position outside the US is not assessed here.

Fuente 1 ↗

CN · Consumer/enterprise drone maker (DJI competitor)

Autel Robotics

Origen de su ventaja
Product range priced and featured close to DJI.

Qué significa para quien quiera entrar (interpretación)
(Interpretation) US successor demand for Chinese aircraft flows to software that works with NDAA-compliant airframes.

Limitación: Autel's own current strategy was not verified from a primary source.

Fuente 1 ↗

US · Autonomous drones for defense, public safety and inspection

Skydio

Qué hacen (hecho)
Skydio sells autonomy-first X10 drones, docks and DFR software as a bundle. In March 2026 the US Army ordered 2,500+ X10D for over $52M; in April it raised $110M (Series F) at a $4.4B valuation; in July 2026 its full lineup joined the DoD Blue UAS Cleared List.

Origen de su ventaja

Limitación: Revenue/valuation are as reported, not audited.

Fuente 1 ↗

US · Defense AI pilot (Hivemind)

Shield AI

Qué hacen (hecho)
